- Jack Wright, a lumber magnate, and Jack Wright, a lawyer, apply for rooms at the same hotel, and the clerk gets them mixed up with the result that when Alma, the daughter of the lumberman, arrives at the hotel she finds evidence of a man's occupation, and as she is preparing for bed the stranger himself appears. She ducks behind a screen and many ludicrous incidents follow rapidly, during which the bellboy appears with a tray of tea and toast which he tells Jack has been ordered by "his wife." Jack finds "his wife" behind the screen and they introduce themselves. She becomes hysterical at her terrible predicament and sobs that she is utterly disgraced, but he comforts her and reminds her of when they were both school children, how he had a little sweetheart by the name of Alma Wright; she remembers and he proposes on the spot. She accepts him. and just as he is leaving her with a good-night kiss Pa Wright appears. Then there are some exciting moments until explanations and introductions clear up matters, and the Wrong Mr. Wright becomes the Right Mr. Wright, with Pa's blessings.

- A pretty maid, a clambake and a milk bottle put Mr. Wright in wrong. He employs the pretty maid and, because she is pretty, is more gallant towards her than Mrs. Wright thinks he should be. Complications arise when the maid is sent out with the baby to the park, and Mr. Wright goes to a clambake. The maid loses the baby's milk bottle in the park, and Mr. Wright wins a milk bottle as the booby prize at the bake. He and the maid get in at the same time; she without the milk bottle and he with one. Nobody can make Mrs. Wright believe that her spouse was not out with the maid. Trouble keeps the Wright house in wrong all night; then the next morning's papers announce that Mr. Wright won the milk bottle at the clambake. The dove of peace again perches in the Wright household.
